Ireland midfielder David Meyler endured the pain of defeat last night as Hull City lost to Arsenal.

But he was also nursing some physical pain after Arsenal's Laurent Koscielny accidentally caught him in the face with his boot, leaving a nasty gash just below his eye.

Fair play to the Corkman though, he played on and showed off his war wound on Instagram after the game:
