Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini says there is a possibility that Edin Dzeko could leave the club ahead of the new season.

The Bosnia-Herzegovina striker has been linked with a move to Roma.

He is on City's pre-season tour of Australia, but has yet to feature, and Pellegrini says that is down to doubts surrounding his future.

"That's why he didn't play but he's part of our squad and he's working everyday," said Pellegrini today.  

Manchester City kick off their Premier League campaign against West Brom on August 10th.
