With Joe set to depart fror Brazil, we're kicking off our World Cup coverage.

Tonight we started off with the standards of punditry to expect this summer.

BBC have named the likes of Rio Ferdinand and Thierry Henry to join up with the usual suspects like Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer.

Meanwhile, ITV will have to make do without Roy Keane, but can call upon his best buddy Patrick Vieira, Italy's 2006 captain Fabio Cannavaro and England winger Andros Townsend.

And of course the RTE's panel will be bickering and analysing their way through the tournament.

We were joined by Declan Lynch of the Sunday Independent to run the rule over the pundits and presenters who will be holding our attention over the next month.

He describes why Townsend and Juninho are in the "uniquely placed" bracket, why he has "no hope" for Ferdinand and why he reckons John Terry could do well for ITV.
