Former Cork City full-back Neal Horgan feels the pressure might be more on league leaders Dundalk ahead of a big match between the two on Friday.

Reigning champions Dundalk lead Cork by four points ahead of the match at Turner's Cross but City have already beaten the Lilywhites this season.

Horgan, who played in over 300 matches from 1999 joined Oisin Langan on this week's Newstalk Airtricity League Podcast

"Maybe the pressure is on Dundalk a little to say that Cork have beaten them already twice this year and if you want to be kingpins, despite Dundalk's fantastic form, you need to beat the teams around you and they haven't beaten Cork this year and it's a big test for them," he told Oisin.

Horgan also praised Cork City manager John Caulfield about adapting the style of the team at his own pace, and spoke about his own adaptation to being a fan rather than a club stalwart.
