Matija Nastasic has completed his loan move from Manchester City to German club Schalke.

The defender is deemed to be surplus to requirements at the Premier League champions and will spend the rest of the season in the Bundesliga.

According to Schalke, a "purchase option" has been agreed.

The Serbian player has found himself behind Vincent Kompany, Eliaquim Mangala and Martin Demichelis at the Etihad Stadium.

City have also agreed a fee for Swansea striker Wilfried Bony.
