Limerick and Cork are level, at 0-10 each, at half-time in the Munster SHC final. The advantage swung Limerick’s way in the dying moments of the half, however, as a straight red card for Cork’s Patrick Horgan leaves Jimmy Barry Murphy’s side looking like they will face an uphill struggle in the second half.
Limerick raced into a 0-4 to 0-1 lead within the first six minutes, but Cork battled back to control the game and lead by 0-10 to 0-8 with just five left in the half. Late points from Declan Hannon and Graeme Mulcahy of Limerick tied the game.
