The Munster council of the GAA has announced a €3.75M grant for the redevelopment of Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork.
The Cork county board recently announced that they had received planning permission for work to start on the €70M project to refurbish the stadium, with construction to begin next month.
At tonight's Munster council meeting, delegates agreed to the five-year Financial Package, which also features a separate €2.5M in funding to Clare, Limerick, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford, with all five counties receiving €0.5M for capital projects.
However, the council has warned that there will be no further investment in major capital projects for the next five years.
