Jose Mourinho has confirmed that first team doctor Eva Carneiro and physio Jon Fearn will not be on the bench for Sunday's Premier League game at Man City.

The Chelsea manager has been under fire for his criticism of his medical staff during and after the 2-2 draw against Swansea last Saturday, when Carneiro and Fearn entered the field of play to treat the injured Eden Hazard on the invitation of the match referee.

However, Mourinho did say at his press conference today that Carneiro and Fearn may return to the post in the future.

"Jon Fearn and Dr Carneiro will not be on the bench. But that doesn't mean they cannot be in the future. It is my decision," he said.
