Somebody give the marketing team at Vancouver Whitecaps a raise!
The MLS team clearly have their finger on the pulse as they used a mock-up version of the new Pokémon Go game to announce the signings of Canadian internationals Marcel de Jong and David Edgar.
Edgar was a free agent after spending time in England with Birmingham City, Huddersfield Town and Sheffield United. De Jong joined the team from NASL team Ottawa Fury.
The game was only released last week and has already become the most popular video game on mobile phones in 2016, with Pokémon fans all over the world joining in.
