AC Milan wing back Kevin Constant has walked off the pitch in a friendly game with newly-promoted Serie A side Sassuolo after suffering racist abuse.
The Guinea international walked off in the first half of the 2 - 1 defeat in the Trofeo Tim tournament.
The incident had echoes of team-mate Kevin Prince Boateng's experience against Pro Patria last season, as he also kicked the ball into the stands before leaving the field.
The referee allowed Milan to bring on a substitute and informed the stadium announcer to read out a message, imploring home fans to desist from their actions or the game would be suspended.
The Italian Football Federation has launched an investigation into the incident.
