Memphis Depay has fuelled speculation that he is destined for the Old Trafford exit door after a strange night of activity on Instagram last night. 

The Dutch winger has had a more than difficult first season at Manchester United after signing for the club last summer for a fee worth £31 million. 

The 22-year-old had an interesting night on social media yesterday, as he deleted every picture on his account, bar one of him and his girlfriend, Lori Harvey, and unfolllowed all of his team mates on Instagram. 

Having said that, he still follows the United account while his Twitter account remains unchanged, where it states that he is a Manchester United player and shows him playing in the famous red jersey of the club. 

Despite his Instagram activity, Memphis is in the #mufc squad today.

Since joining, Memphis has scored just two Premier League goals in 26 appearances although United fans have seen glimpses of why their club forked out for him, churning out excellent performances in the Europe this season against Club Brugge and FC Midtjylland.
