UCI President Pat McQuaid could be nominated for re-election by Morocco and Thailand if proposed rule-changes are passed.
His opponent in the forthcoming election Brian Cookson has described the proposals as an embarassment to cycling.
McQuaid lost his Cycling Ireland nomination while Switzerland's nomination is being legally challenged.

That court case has been set for August 22nd in Zurich.
