Australia head coach Ewen McKenzie says he has got no regrets about missing-out on the Ireland job.
The then Queensland Reds coach was one of the men who was interviewed by the IRFU earlier this year as they sought a successor to Declan Kidney.
The Union eventually opted for Joe Schmidt, but McKenzie insists that he bears no ill-will over the Union's decision.
"I had a lot of things floating around but I wasn't rushing to go anywhere. I didn't spend anytime on any particular thing and at that point in time I was coaching the Reds," he said.
McKenzie's team take on Ireland this Saturday.
