Rory McIlroy shot a 71 to finish the day on 2-under par on Day 2 of the USPGA Championship at Whistling Straits.
The World No 1 is now five shots off Sweden's David Lingmerth who is on 7-under, one clear of Jordan Spieth, Scott Piercy, Russell Henley and Dustin Johnson.
Shane Lowry shot a 69 to move to 3-over for the week, while Graeme McDowell and Padraig Harrington are on 5 and 3-over respectively after today.
Elsewhere, Darren Clarke had a disastrous day. He shot 81 to end his week on 15-over.
It's looking likely that a score of at least 2-over, will be necessary to make it to the weekend.
