Manny Pacquiao remains a big draw in boxing despite his duties as a senator in his native Philippines.

The "Pacman" is due to fight at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane in July.

Ticket sales for the event have already passed the 40,000 mark, just under a month out from the bout, and is officially the biggest fight to ever take place in the country.

The Filipino puts his WBO welterweight title on the line against Australian Jeff Horn.

Pacquiao, 59-6-2 is in the twilight of his legendary career, having faced the best of his era over the last 20 years.

Wins against Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto thrust him into the limelight as he burst the seams of the boxing cult and won the imagination of the general sports public.

In his last outing, he comprehensively outpointed Jessie Vargas to claim the WBO welterweight title.

Pacquiao has experience of fighting in front of huge crowds as he has faced both Joshua Clottey and Antonio Margarito at the impressive Cowboy's Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Ireland's Michael Conlon is due to fight on the undercard also. The Irishman has won both his professional fights by stoppage.
