Jose Mourinho is wasting little time in giving the Manchester United squad he inherited from Louis van Gaal an overhaul.

Reports suggest Ibrahimovic's signing is imminent while reports have surfaced yet again that Mourinho is very keen on central midfielder Andre Gomes and that a bid has been placed. 

The reports say United's bid is in the region of €45 million plus a further €15 million.

The Portuguese midfielder is a mix between previous United target Saul Niguez and Ander Herrera. The 22-year-old was excellent two seasons ago before hitting a poor patch last year during a season to forget for the entire Valencia squad. He could be exactly what Mourinho and United need in the centre of midfield.
