According to some reports, Jurgen Klopp is one of the leading candidates to take over at Liverpool should the club decide that the Brendan Rodgers era must come to an end.
However, according to Talksports's Merseyside correspondent Graham Beecroft, the Reds have someone lined up to replace Rodgers but it's not the former Borussia Dortmund boss.
Beecroft believes that Liverpool's decision to immediately quash rumours spread about interest in Carlo Ancelotti as significant, in comparison to the way in which they have not challenged talk surrounding a pursuit for Klopp.
He concludes that, "One thing I can tell you is that Jurgen Klopp will not be the next Liverpool manager".
