Liverpool owner John W Henry has expressed his dismay at Arsenal's bid for Luis Suarez.
The Reds turned down an improved bid of £40 million and one pound from Arsenal for the attacker.
By exceeding £40 million, Liverpool are obliged to tell the striker of the offer, although it does not trigger a buy-out clause.
Suarez's agent has told the Anfield outfit he wants to play in the Champions League, but will not try to force through a move.
Regarding the bid which does not meet the value Liverpool have put on the player, an irritated Henry tweeted:
What do you think they're smoking over there at Emirates?
