The football journalist who was called an "ostrich" by Nigel Pearson in a bizarre post-match rant last night has said that they had one previous run-in with the Leicester City manager - though not as extreme.

Ian Baker, who is a Midlands sports reporter for The Wardle Whittell Agency told Newstalk's Oisin Langan about last night's experience.

"I cover Leicester every week and there's been one previous situation, but not as extreme as that," he said, adding that the age of viral videos means these sorts of clashes, which are relatively common, make the news now in a way that they never did.
