Avengers: Age Of Ultron actor Robert Downey Jr has been all over the internet the past 24 hours, after he walked out on an interview with Channel 4's Krishnan Guru-Murthy.

The 50-year-old was promoting his latest Marvel film when Guru-Murthy asked about his past drug problems and his time spent in prison.

The US actor abruptly ended the interview, declaring upon exit: "It's getting a bit Diane Sawyer and you're a bit of a schmuck.”

Take a look:

Robert Downey Junior isn’t the first celebrity to storm out mid-questioning...

Russell Crowe and BBC Radio 4's Mark Lawson:

Not known for being the most easy-going interviewee, the Australian actor was highly offended when the BBC Radio 4 DJ commented that his accent in Robin Hood sounded Irish. Crowe caustically responded: "You've seriously got dead ears if you think that's an Irish accent."

It then descends into classic Russell Crowe territory.

Clive Anderson hits a bum note with The Bee Gees:

Probably one of the most iconic interview walk-outs, the Bee Gees took grave offence to Anderson’s renowned sarcasm.

When Anderson wryly remarks that he could not remember the trio's song, Don't Forget To Remember, singer Barry replied: "We're getting on like a storm, aren't we, Clive? In fact, I might just leave."

Which he promptly did, followed by his brother Robin as Maurice fumbled as he attempted to remove his mic. Cringe-tastic:

Andrea Roche was having 'a hard day':

More of a ‘hung-up’ than a ‘walk-out’, a tired and emotional Andrea Roche struggled through her interview with INN Radio in 2008 ahead of the Miss Ireland beauty contest she was organising.

When the interviewer inquired about the stage set-up, Ms Roche asked for ‘more straight-forward questions’. It all went downhill after that...

Rihanna's happy to sing about love but don't ask her about it...

The Bajan songstress was  when the Sunrise reporter asked about her dating life while promoting Battleship in 2012. RiRi replied: "It's very frustrating. Almost as frustrating as being asked about it. I mean, what's the point?"

The interview ends abruptly there.

Peter Andre v Kay Burley:

Sky News presenter Burley touched a nerve with the pop star when she asked about his children with former wife Katie Price.

In the 2010 interview, Burley asked: "Do [your children] know that their mummy's got married [to Alex Reid]?"
Andre hit back: "Nobody is going to take my kids away from me. I will fight to the death for that... I would die for those children."

When Burley tried to move on from the subject, Andre demanded to end the conversation completely.
