Limerick have been crowned Electric Ireland Munster minor champions following a dramatic win over Waterford last night in Thurles.
Despite conceding 4 goals, the Shannonsiders beat their rivals by 1-20 to 4-08, that's Limericks first title art that level since 1984.
Waterford will now face Antrim in an All-Ireland quarter-final this Sunday in Parnell Park with the winners then advancing to a semi-final show-down against Leinster champions Kilkenny.
The event may also be remembered for farcical scenes beforehand when fans streamed across the pitch from the New stand to the Old stand after a bigger than expected crowd turned up and needed to be accommodated in two rather than just one stand.
