Leinster have secured a bonus point victory at home to the Scarlets in the Guinness Pro12.

Rob Kearney and Ian Madigan each got a brace of tries, while Dominic Ryan and Tadhg Furlong got one apiece in a 42-12 victory, up from 21-5 at half-time.

Madigan managed to convert all six tries to complete a fine individual performance, securing 22 points.

There was a late try and conversion for the Scarlets, but Leinster emerged with a definitive 30 point lead. Leinster are now unbeaten in their last 20 games at the RDS.

Earlier today, New Zealand became six points clear at the top of the Rugby Championship table following a 14-10 defeat of South Africa in Wellington.

Australia got the better of a tight encounter on the Gold Coast, beating Argentina 32-25.
