Leinster have announced the signing of second-row Hayden Triggs until the end of the season.
Following the departure of Kane Douglas over the summer, the province have been on the look out for a replacement forward and the 33-year-old, who has been capped nine times by the Maori All Blacks, will arrive in Dublin tomorrow having already been granted a work permit.
The signing is a timely one after Mike McCarthy's call-up to the World Cup and the news today that summer-signing Mick Kearney has re-injured his toe and has already undergone surgery that will keep him out of action until the New Year.
