Leicester have signed winger Demarai Gray from Championship side Birmingham for an undisclosed fee.

The England Under-20 international has agreed a four and a half year contract with the Premier League club.

He will join up with the squad before Leicester's match at Tottenham in the FA Cup on Sunday.

The 19-year-old winger has made 24 appearances for his club this season in the Championship, scoring once.

He was tipped as a transfer target for Tottenham last month, prior to his current transfer. 

Leicester are two points off the top of the Barclays Premier League table in second place, but will miss Jamie Vardy for two weeks as he undergoes minor groin surgery and are also without a win in their last three games - albeit with just one defeat to Liverpool in that minor downturn in form.
