Leinster have confirmed that Jordan Larmour will be out of action until February.

The full-back required a procedure on a dislocated shoulder sustained in his province's win over Benetton on the opening weekend of the Guinness PRO14 season.

Larmour's recovery will take sixteen weeks, meaning he's likely to return just in time for the start of the 2021 Six Nations.

Meanwhile, Andy Farrell has a full squad to choose from ahead of Saturday's Six Nations resumption at home to Italy.

Peter O'Mahony and Chris Farrell joined up with the rest of the squad on Monday. Both players had been isolating having been deemed close contacts of a positive COVID-19 case at Munster.

Craig Casey, Harry Byrne and Fineen Wycherley won't be involved against the Azzurri this week. They've been allowed to return to Munster ahead of their inaugural Monday night PRO14 fixture at home to Cardiff Blues.

Dave Kearney and James Tracy have been released to Leinster for Friday night's visit of Zebre to the RDS.

However, despite him not becoming eligible until November's Autumn Nations Cup matches, James Lowe is staying on with the Ireland squad in preparation for the Six Nations matches with Italy and France.
