Laois gave Galway a run for their money in last year's Leinster championship and as the two sides reconvene again this weekend, ex-Clare star Jamesie O'Connor believes Cheddar Plunkett's system could do just the trick to irk the Tribesemen.

Speaking to Off The Ball, he said: "They have a system they're familiar with, that frustrated Galway immeasurably in each of the last two years and we saw how Galway failed hopelessly to counter-act Waterford's defensive strategy and sweeper system in the league semi-final earlier this season. So Galway will have to put a bit of thought in how to break Laois down."
