Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Adam Lallana.

The 26-year-old England international joins from Southampton following a successful season that saw him earn a place in the Premier league team of the year .

It is the club's second signing from the Saints having also captured Ricky Lambert while a deal in principle has been agreed for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Emre Can.

Meanwhile, Lallana is the latest to exit the door at Southampton, following Luke Shaw and Lambert away from St Mary's.
