Jurgen Klopp has ended speculation that he will take over a Premier league side any time soon by extending his Borussia Dortmund contract.
The manager signed a two year extension with the Bundesliga team today that runs until 2018.
Klopp, who has led Dortmund to two league titles and last season's Champions League final, has repeatedly described the Dortmund project as the most exciting in Europe.
The Bundesliga side are currently second in the German league after a 3 - 1 win over derby rivals Schalke 04.
Apart from interest from the Premeir League, there had also been speculation that he could be a future manager of the German national side.
Klopp has become a cult figure for fans around the world for his down-to-earth style and on Saturday his latest light-hearted moment saw him accidentally deflect a ball into the head of a referee with whom he has clashed in the past. He certainly looked sheepish afterwards.
