Katie Taylor has retained her European title with a win over France’s Estelle Mossely in Bucharest this afternoon.

A strong third round was crucial and enabled Taylor to ease to a record sixth European title.

Mossely perhaps edged the first round and the second was a tight affair but Taylor moved ahead in the third and then controlled the fight in the final, fourth round.
