Tottenham Hotspur and England under-21 striker, Harry Kane, has admitted that he was 'flattered' by the interest linking him with a move to Old Trafford.

The PFA Young Player of the Year says that despite the rumours circulating in the press that Manchester United might make a move for him he insisted that he was happy at Spurs.

"I am happy at Spurs and I look forward to the future with Spurs," he said. "I have seen there is interest but that's all I know. It is flattering for other clubs to maybe be interested."

Kane started for England in their under-21 1-0 defeat to Portugal yesterday.

Kane had an outstanding breakthrough season at Spurs this year that saw him score 31 goals in all competitions and become known as one of the best young talents in the world.

When asked about interest from big clubs Kane said that he is at a big club.

"Tottenham are one of the big clubs. That is the way people have to see it. I am at a big club."

Analysis carried out by the Football Observatory recently valued Kane at £43 million and placed his monetary value ahead of former Spurs star, Gareth Bale.
