Juventus reached the semi finals of the Champions League last night after a 0-0 draw in Monaco.

Arturo Vidal scored the only goal of the tie on the first leg to ensure the Italian sides progression to the last four.

It was Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini that did all he could to make sure of the semi final berth by deliberately stopping a goal scoring opportunity for Monaco's Joao Moutinho.

Somehow, referee Willie Collum missed the offence and Chiellini got away with a yellow card.

It was also revealed today, the the Juve defender has completed the most passes in this season's Champions League, which many fans throughout the continent will find very surprising.
