John Giles feels Chelsea striker Diego Costa's actions on the pitch are "hooligan" like and that manager Jose Mourinho is not discouraging such behaviour.

The Leeds legend was on Off The Ball tonight as always on a Thursday and gave his reaction to the Brazilian's behaviour in Chelsea's 2-0 win over Arsenal last Saturday, which has ultimately resulted in a three-match ban retrospectively.

"I think Costa is a hooligan," said John. "Costa looks for [trouble]. He doesn't seem to have any sense of what's right and what's wrong - not just in the match on Saturday - but in every match he plays in. And he's encouraged by Mourinho. Mourinho said after the match that 'as far as I was concerned he was Man of the Match', like when he stood on the Liverpool player last year. Mourinho said he didn't mean it but he's involved in it every week."
