Is there any point in taking on Rafael Nadal on clay?

Novak Djokovic was the latest to fall short against the Spaniard at the French Open as he secured a ninth title at Rolland Garros.

Indeed he has only lost once at that particular Grand Slam in 67 attempts, spanning almost a decade.

Tonight we were joined by ESPN tennis analyst Luke Jensen to talk about Nadal's unprecedented achievement at the French Open.

"To win nine French Open titles and the way he did it, it just shows how dedicated he is to his specialty," said Jensen.

"On this surface, it really is the place that he goes and is a warrior. It is the Roman Colosseum for him. They bring out the Christians and he slaughters them. He is just like that movie 300."

Jensen also touched on the insinuations about doping in the sport of tennis because of the apparently intense levels of fitness.

But he feels that is a non-story until incontrovertible evidence arises.

"Until there is a positive test. Until there is something that you can show me as evidence, I can't go there," said Jensen.
