The victory from a quarter-final is huge because you have an All-Ireland semi-final in 3-4 weeks.

That for every player - and even management team - that's exactly where you wanted to be and where you talked about.

Those 3-4 weeks leading into an All-Ireland semi-final are brilliant. They're a brilliant time for players and for a team.

There's a lot that can happen in that. You get strong as a team, you can work on certain things, there's good weather and the crowds are getting bigger.

All that kind of stuff that creates a great energy around games is huge.

And there's a self-fulfilling build-up to All-Ireland semi-finals that takes care of itself.

So your focus as a manager and player is enjoy that, yes, but you've got three or four weeks to be in the best shape of your life for an All-Ireland semi-final.

It's a great time for a player and team.
