The Guinness Kerry National is the feature race at Listowel today, with the equine action getting underway at 14.25. 

Listowel is not a racing festival particularly well known to those outside the sport, but the Kerry National holds a special place in the hearts of racing fans all over the country.

Newstalk Breakfast presenter, and well-known pundit, Ivan Yates lifts the lid on Listowel, while also casting his eye over today’s feature. Ivan also pays tribute to the great Oliver Brady, the colourful horse trainer, who passed away on Monday after a battle with cancer.
