After exiting European competition yesterday, there was further bad news for Leinster today.
Fergus McFadden has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
The winger and centre will undergo surgery on Wednesday morning on a thumb fractured early in the second half of yesterday's Champions Cup semi final defeat to Toulon.

As a result, McFadden will be out for eight weeks, and misses the conclusion to Leinster's Pro 12 season.
Kane Douglas will also go under the knife later this week to remedy a back problem, keeping him out for three months.
