One of the stars of Limerick's win over Clare in the Munster quarter-final was Cian Lynch. Last years Minor captain was named man of the match in his championship debut.

He spoke to Dave McIntyre earlier this week, ahead of today's provincial semi-final with Tipperary.

Lynch was told about his debut, four days before the Clare game. "It's an experience of what you want to do every Sunday". He told Dave about how his family keep him level headed, despite the heroics of the debut.

"It's always the next match", Lynch told Dave when speaking about consistency after the Clare game. He also says the element of surprise will be missing from the Tipperary.

The Patrickswell star gave praise to TJ Ryan too, saying the manager has managed Lynch's workload sensibly this year.

"Everyone is on par at the moment" according to Lynch, mentioning opponents Tipperary as a contender to win the Liam McCarthy Cup in September.
