All-rounder Alex Cusack has announced his retirement from international cricket with immediate effect.

After an eight-year career with Ireland, the 34-year-old has decided to quit the side, citing the run of injuries have he has struggled with in recent years.

His finest moment was when he took 4 for 32 as Ireland edged out Zimbabwe by five runs during the 2015 World Cup.
