It has been another wonderful day here in LA at the Special Olympics world games, and Ireland has taken 16 more medals on the final day of competition, bringing the final tally to a massive 86 medals. 
 
On a stunning last day of sport the Irish ladies basketball team delivered their best performance of the Games to date, beating Mexico by 19 points to 17 points to win Gold.

There were emotional scenes after the victory, and Henry McKean met basketball player Lydia McGovern, 23, from Dublin.
Amy Duffy, alos part of the basketball team, says her mascot Teddy got her through.
