Ireland squad for Latvia and Poland friendlies revealed

The FAI has announced a 27-man squad for the upcoming international friendlies against Latvia and Poland.

The squad drafted by Noel King will take on Latvia on November 15th, with Ireland travelling to Poznan to face Poland four days later.

The games will be the first game in charge for new Ireland manager Martin O'Neill and his assistant Roy Keane.

Richard Dunne has been left out in order to allow him to recover from a groin injury. Darron Gibson is also unavailable after suffering a serious knee injury against Kazakhstan.

The 27-man squad is as follows:

David Forde, Keiren Westwood, Rob Elliot; Sean St Ledger, Marc Wilson, Seamus Coleman, John O’Shea, Alex Pearce, Stephen Kelly, Joey O’Brien, Ciaran Clark, Stephen Ward; James McCarthy,
Glenn Whelan, Paul Green, Andy Reid, Aiden McGeady, Anthony Pilkington, James McClean, Robbie Brady, Stephen Quinn, Wes Hoolahan; Shane Long, Robbie Keane, Jon Walters, Kevin Doyle, Anthony Stokes.
