Amazing in the second half at the breakdown, the Ulster star struggled in the first 20 minutes as the Argentine pack dominated at ruck time.

Heaslip performed excellently in the loose. In a game, where Ireland needed a leader after Paul O'Connell's injury, Heaslip stood up and was counted.

Luke Fitzgerald 8

Came on after 15 minutes to replace Bowe. He was Ireland's most dangerous back scoring a try and setting up Murphy's in the second half.

Jack McGrath 8

McGrath played the last 30 minutes when Ireland were well on top. He was excellent at the breakdown as Ireland looked to level the game.

Nathan White 7

Potentially White's last game for Ireland. The World Cup bolter player the last 30 with McGrath and performed well at the breakdown.
