"I'm the Normal One"

Those were the words of Liverpool's new manager Jurgen Klopp this morning as he was unveiled at Anfield. The German told members of the press "It’s the biggest honour I can imagine. It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world. I will try to help the club but it is not as difficult as many people in the room here think. I was attracted by the intensity of the football and the fans. It’s perfect to be here."

The 48 year old will be joined at Anfield by his former assistants at Dortmund, Zeljko Buvac and Peter Krawietz. The two men join Klopp after Sean O'Driscoll and Gary McAllister left their positions yesterday.

Klopp was quick to point out that Liverpool's smaller budget compared to other Premier League sides should not take away form their title aspirations. "We have to change from doubter to believer. Stop thinking about money. Only think about football."

When asked how he would describe himself, Klopp was quick to halt any comparisons to Jose Mourinho, calling himself the "normal one"
