Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley says Team Europe are primed to succeed at this year's tournament.
Europe will be looking to defend the title they claimed in miraculous circumstances at Medinah two years ago and McGinley is confident that his team can do themselves justice at Gleneagles next weekend.
Speaking at a press conference today, he said: "We're all very gung-ho and ready for this Ryder Cup. This is not about being complacent. If we don't win this Ryder Cup it won't be about complacency, I can assure you. We're very motivated and we know it's going to be a strong American team. We're under illusions how big this task is."
McGinley also backed Victor Dubuisson's decision to prepare in France and is also confident that Graeme McDowell will be fresh and ready for the challenge of shining at Gleneagles.
