Former Donegal manager and current Celtic performance consultant Jim McGuiness has opened up about his time at the Glasgow club and his hopes for a career in soccer.

The Glenties native was speaking yesterday, when he was announced as one of the new Sky Sports pundits for the forthcoming GAA Football Championship.

Since Ronny Deila became Celtic manager at the start of the season, McGuinness has worked primarily with the first team on a daily basis.

McGuinness is to start studying for his UEFA B badge in the coming weeks.

He also speaks about being given the opportunity to take some sessions with the Celtic first team in the near future and liasing with coaches of defensive structures in the game.
