With a number of key names already out of the Ireland squad through injury, there was more bad news for the Irish rugby camp with the confirmation that Sean O'Brien would be brought in front of the citing commissioner.

There was an incident that occurred between him and Pascal Pape during the match where the Tullow man lashed out and hit the French player, which could put his future at the tournament in jeopardy.

While it's no excuse, Bernard Jackman posted an image of this flashpoint which appears to have happened just before O'Brien hit out, where Pape looks to be trying to ruffle his feathers.

It does seem to imply that there was some element of provocation and that O'Brien simply didn't hit out for no reason, but also that Pape's tactics worked like a charm if his plan was to get the Ireland player to react.

It didn't help France win, but it may very well give Argentina a bit of a boost as they prepare to take on Ireland this weekend.
