Padraig Harrington took time out from his Gaiety run to give Newstalk listeners golf tips live on air this morning.
The three-time major winner was at the Gaiety Theatre last night for the 'An Evening with Padraig Harrington' event. He'll be back for a second night this evening, with all proceeds benefiting the ISPCC and the Padraig Harrington Charitable Foundation, but not before talking to Shane Coleman on The Pat Kenny Show today.
"I make fantastic money playing professional golf, we're completely over-paid in the real world," said the 43-year-old.
"To be able to look at myself in the mirror in the morning you gotta find ways of giving back," he added of his charity work.
"I need to do something like this every winter to feel good about myself," insisted Harrington so, "I don't mind asking corporate sponsors to give me big money."
