Ireland U21 Jack Grealish says he was called a " fake Paddy " by one of his potential international teammates.
The Aston Villa winger revealed that senior international Stephen Quinn said it to him during their clash with Hull, although he laughed off the incident.
"He called me a Fake Paddy. That's what I have to expect though now. Football banter can be like that and I'm not a kid anymore so there's no problem," said the 19-year-old.
English-born Grealish has yet to commit his senior future to Ireland and with England also vying for his attention it has brought criticism from some supporters.
Yesterday Grealish who qualifies for Ireland through his Dublin father and Cork and Kerry grandparents was being linked with Chelsea but today he has being linked with Spurs and Manchester United .
