Tottenham may have found themselves a new superstar in the shape of Heung-Min Son.

The South Korean made his home debut last night for Mauricio Pochettino's side in the Europa League game with Qarabag as Spurs won 3-1.

The former Bayer Leverkusen midfielder scored twice on his home debut as he made his bow on front of the White Hart Lane faithful. Pochettino was delighted with the Korean's impact. "I explained before the Sunderland game that Son can play like a striker. He can also play wider. He has the quality to play in different positions on the pitch."

Erik Lamela scored the third for Spurs five minutes from time to ensure the opening day win in the competition.
