David Ginola has confirmed that he is being paid to front a campaign for the FIFA presidency.
Bookmakers Paddy Power are behind the bid to oust Seep Blatter, and the website promoting the heave suggests £250,000 is the figure they are putting forward.
"We promise that anyone will be able to log in to our website and see where every last penny is spent," said Ginola at this morning's at-times farcical press conference to launch his campaign.
"Crucial to this, is the right of football fans to have a say in who represents them at the highest level of the game."
"The task we face is daunting. That's why we need your help. We need your support for our campaign and that way we can make your voice heard.

When pushed, Ginola couldn't name a single member of the FIFA executive, and admitted he was nowhere near acquiring the backing of five national football federations - the minimum required to become a candidate for the presidency.
His answers were broad and non-specific, and he appeared unable to furnish a response when questioned on key issues such as the laws of the game and third-party ownership.
The Frenchman has until January 29 to meet the criteria for an official nomination.
