Brian Gavin has been appointed to take charge of the All Ireland hurling final replay between Tipperary and Kilkenny.
The Offaly native has been chosen to referee the match after Westmeath’s Barry Kelly took charge of last Sunday's drawn game.
The re-match September 27th will be Gavin's third All Ireland final - having previously been in the middle for the 2013 drawn final between Clare and Cork and the 2011 decider, which was also between Kilkenny and Tipperary.
